Todays Class-Poppies and Daisies
Gerry joined us for the first time today-we met Gerry for the first time on Thursday at the WI demo.
She joined Jan and Jack who had both been before a few times-Jan was here for the 4th time and Jack for the 17th time.
The subject was the poppies and daisies, which was created using acrylic paint. We had a great time-though there was lots of concentration!
Ive promised Jack that I will work on a paintng subject with a stone bridge in it-so thats what I will sort out soon!
Ive also got a new idea for a floral painting- you will see it right here as soon as its finished!
Anyway-Gerry was chuffed to bits with her painting-and is joining us again for Mellow Moods-she went away with some acrylic varnish to coat her painting with tomorrow -it will bring the colours out beautifully!
Jan went away with 10 new canvas to use-she intends giving away her work as birthday and Christmas pressies-considering she was really worried about the tremors she has in her hands-she makes a brilliant job of her pictures. She also had some varnish to finish her paintings off with!
Jack bought 5 of my new cards to take away--Lin had sent some more new ones this morning-they were stunning-the sunset ones have all gone now-
Cant wait for Lin to come and take some more photos of more of my paintings-its going to be hard to decide which ones to have has cards-the way she has cropped the original ones to make the best cards is brilliant-Ive left it up to her as regards the size, shape etc and she has a great eye for detail.
W are both looking forward to meeting with lin and her Hubby in the near future!
