A Drink For Jake!

My two nephews came around tonight with their Dad
to borrow our laminater---Jake was quick off the mark when he realised that they had a glass of J20 juice drink each ! He loves it!
He quickly flew down from his cage to have a sip or two-
along with the odd ice cube from their glass!

Fathers Day

We had a special little visitor this morning--our little grandson Callum came to visit with his mum and dad as it was Fathers Day.
I think hes being a bit optimistic if he wants to catch that fish with the net he has in his hand!
It was the first time they had seen the garden since it started its transformation and they all thought it was great.
Little Callum was kept busy picking up the stray stones that had found their way onto the stone circle on the bottom level!!.
Trouble is with the garden being on three levels ,its not very child friendly and you have to watch the grandchildren all the time to make sure they are safe. Concrete steps are not good to fall down!

Birthday

I had a lovely birthday yesterday, I received lots of lovely cards (and emails) and pressies from family and friends.
Bill bought me some Armani Code perfume and I also had a lovely surprise when I opened the front door to find a beautiful bouquet being delivered from him too, they are absolutely beautiful.
I had more lovely flowers off my sister and daughter too, so have run out of vases now!
I have been thoroughly spoiled by everyone.!!!
Bill cooked a delicious meal in the evening for us to round off the perfect day!

Baby Sitting

We had Baby Hollie down from Sunderland last night. She is growing up so fast bless her.As I have got all my wet oil paintings standing in the downstairs bath drying out of the way of the cat and the parrot we decided to bath her in the kitchen sink--she loved it.The kitchen was soon covered in water! She had a bottle of milk and was in bed for 8pm. She woke at 3am for another bottle and then slept through til7.30am.
Grandad Bill got up with her in the night--I was so tired I didnt hear a thing!

FANTASTIC DAY!!!!!!

Well I am so glad we braved the snow yesterday, we had a fantstic day.
I sold my Poppy Quartet painting and have been commissioned to paint it again for someone else!

I always demonstrate when I am doing shows, and my party trick is to paint a landscape from start to finish in just 4 minutes, there are gasps from people watching as the picture forms before their eyes ! I love to show people just how easy oil painting can be, and it pays dividends reallly because they book up to come to my classes after. It sounds as if I will have some demonstrations to do for an art club and another ladies group too, so all in all a great day, and a nice cheque for the Heart Foundation!
