May 8th Food and Drink Festval Ludlow Market

We had Mick and Debs on one side of us today at the Food and Drink festival...they are great friends! Mick cuts/recycles coins to create necklaces ,earrings and other beautiful things.Everything is done by hand with a tiny hacksaw.
some of the beautiful work Mick does
I love these toadstools..I couldn't get any decent photos for some reason..
I love the man in the moon one
The wrens on the farthing earrings are just beautiful
love these fairies..
he uses handles of forks and spoons to create rings and necklaces too-and makes these wonderful windchimes from cutlery---
meet Dave the dog- he belongs to Mick and Debs
here comes trouble---me , Fleur, Debs and Mick having 5 mins during a rare quiet time.
Its amazing just how much they get on the motorbike and sidecar--its like a tardis.they are known affectionately on the market as Wallace and Grommit!
ready for home.......  we had a great day except for the smell from the stall next to us--it was bad planning on behalf of the market to  put a stall selling goat burgers and samosas right next to us......the smell of the cooking was very strong at times and the rose air freshener was needed most of the day to mask it.As it was a food and drink festival it would have made more sense to put the food stall with the others--it was not the stall holders fault---they had to go where placed...but I will be putting in a complaint to the market manager on Wednesday when I see him.Ive got lots of cloths to wash and the smell of cooking has got into the canvas .other than that we had a great day---sold a poppy painting, got bookings for workshops, got 2 paintings done while I was there and had a great time with the other stall holders...we are back on Wednesday as usual so looking forward to that a lot!
