New Venues Coming Up

We are -weather permitting-going to be at 2 new venues doing demonstrations and showing off the paintings etc. The first will be on Wed 11th July at Herefordshire Diamond Day at the King George V Playing Field, Hereford 8.30am-4.30pm There will be community music and dance displays, Vintage village, arts and crafts and a high teashop.
Local foods, ciders and refreshments.Livestock displays and childrens play area.

Most importantly of all and the highlight of the day will be a visit from Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness the Duke Of Edinburgh....

Then we will be at The Hole In The Wall Festival at Hopton Court on Sunday 15th July where The Counterfeit Stones,T-Rextasy, Fred Zeppelin,Simple Minds, The Reggaelators plus more to follow!!

 Lots going on as well as music ..we will have our own new gazebo at both venues so should have plenty of room for demonstrating....lets hope the weather dries up before then..

We should be at Bromyard Gala this weekend but if the rain keeps on can see it being cancelled as the steam engines wont be able to move on the site--neither will our Bunty Van so keeping everything crossed it stops raining soon..
My dear friend Lin is working flat out to get enough of my cards done in time for all the shows bless her...they have sold like hotcakes as usual at all the shows/markets Ive done lately!

My friend Paula  has offered to man my  usual Ludlow market stall on the Wed 11th July, so I will be working flat out tomorrow to get enough on my popular minature paintings done to leave with her for then and so I have enough to take with me to the shows.

New Venue For Workshops

We will be at our new venue at St Peters Catholic Church, Henley Road , Ludlow , SY8 1QZ  as of Saturday 5th March onwards. The venue we use at the moment--Helena Lane  is a victim of the goverment cutbacks-- and as a result will be closing down on Saturdays.

We started out at the church nearly 7 years ago..and only left because in those days I only took a maximum of 6 students and the room was far too big for us.
These days we are having anything up to 17 students and the room will once more be ideal.. its very easy to find-no matter what direction you come from, lots of parking and a good kitchen for the endless teas and coffees. We will no doubt have as much fun there as we do at the current venue-and we are looking forward to seeing you all there!
