Damaged Painting

 For the first time in 8 years Ive had a painting damaged when on route to its new owner-- By The Light a huge 36in x 36in canvas arrived with the side stretcher bar broken and the canvas damaged.
It had been wrapped in 4 layers of extra strong bubble wrap and packed into a strong box-that the canvas originaly came in-so it was a suitable box--it had extra bubble and tape over all the edges to help protect it but something has been dropped onto the edge of it at some point and broken it.
Luckily I had paid the extra money to insure it for the full amount-so Im waiting to hear back from the couriers about it--fingers crossed they will pay up for it.
