New Birds In Garden

The photos are not doing the little bird justice--the red shades on his breast and head are beautiful..
they are loving this seed--very popular with all the finches.
We noticed this new pair of birds at the feeders yesterday--after a quick Google we found they are Linnets--a relative of the goldfinches that we are getting here in huge numbers as word as got round that Bill spoils all the birds rotten! Its lovely to see some new faces here--
This is a femail Brambling--we get quite a few here now--very pretty little birds--the males have a punky hairstyle-must try and get a clear photo of one of those!
I love the long tailed tits--they come in huge numbers as well-- such pretty birds..
The goldfinches and greenfinches are here all day long-as many as 14 at a time are here eating the niger seed

the pair of bullfinches are here regular as well--isnt the male beautiful--his colours seem to be getting stronger each time as spring approaches..
