Exhibition..

Most of the exhibition space is in a long corridor that is well lit with natural lights and spotlights as well..
There was plenty of room to hang the paintings and all the working out before hand really paid off....all the paintings were numbered with the panel number they were going on as well as having the usual labels with price/medium etc on them.
The Birch Tree Panel...
Large oil landscapes panel..
The Encaustic art panel--all created using melted wax on perspex..
This is one of my favorite pics ...called Two Faced--there are 2 spooky faces in the centre of the painting,,most folk can see the main one but not the second--and loads of people can see other faces in there that I cant as well!
I love the ccolours in this one!
This one called "Rose garden" has lots going on in there when you look closely as well...

Oils and acrylics panel..
A mixed media panel...all sorts going on here--the Flames Of Passion one is one of my favorites--the flames are very textured and tactile..
a few more oils and acrylics...

The final panel -again a mix of oils acrylics including a couple of framed ones!

Halloween Market

We were babysitting our little Tommy on Saturday night , he was as good as gold--we were creased at him making his chair bounce-he knew exactly what he was doing bless him! He went up to bed wide awake and went right off to sleep -no problem! His mummy and daddy were back home at 11pm so we wer enot too late getting to bed-and the extra hour  helped as well!
It was lovely to have Penny next to us--we see her at some of the shows we do and we always have a great laugh with her and her hubby Mark....she has some amazing crystals on her stall---
Our friend Jane went the whole hog and got dressed up as a witch--she looked brilliant!
We had a little visitor in the form of our little Ollie---here he is enjoying a banana off Nanny Di !

Latest Exhibition

We went over to Church Stretton Leisure Centre this morning to set up my latest solo exhibition...its a great venue with lovely natural light.
I had the measurements of the available space and was able to map out on paper what was going where..
was very pleased with how it all looked...Bill measured everything accurately and got the pictures up quickly and neatly..
plenty of room fro all the information about me and the workshops as well..
From there we went on to The Plough at Shifnal...the landlady had asked me to do a solo exhibition there in Dec so we decided to go and suss it out..we had a lovely Sunday lunch there! But after seeing the space available and considering the distance from home Ive decided not to do it...I would have to paint smaller paintings to fit the space available as being an old black and white building there isn't any large areas to hang in and 99% of my art is on big canvas..so I will give this one a miss...I just don't have time to get enough smaller paintings done.....

The Plough---lovely place-full of old beams...

Centre
we had a visit off our Tommy with his daddy later when we got home....Tommy is growing so fast....getting chunkier by the minute love him!
