Bills Garden

We have had a a busy few days. We wanted something unusual for a little pathway through the newly laid out garden- we found just the thing in the form of these slabs with ammonites detail on them, they fit in the colour scheme beautifully.
Now that the plants have started going in ,its really taking shape.
We have got a new patio set to go on the stone circle-cant wait for it to be finished and sit out there with a glass of wine or two!
We saw the giant fish ornament yesterday when we went searching the various garden centres and just had to go back for it today. Its going to live next to the fish pond.
The top of the garden , the patio area next to the house is looking a bit tatty and neglected after the transformation on the other 2 levels of the garden-its going to be the last bit to be finished by the look of things-Bill has got his tomatoes and beans in containers and grow bags on the patio and also some of the plants waiting to go in down the bottom end.The project is nearing the end--its been a lot of work but so worth it.
It will be a minimum amount of work to keep it looking good because of the special membrane that was put down under the gravel.
The summer house is almost ready for the first BBQ to celebrate the new look garden--most of the things stored in there have gone onto Freecycle and have all been collected-all that needs to be done in there now is de-spidering (Defiantly Bills job!)and plugging in the fridge in Bills Bar!!

Commission

I have been asked to paint a commission with a difference.
The customer has got 2 new doors with porthole windows in them. She wants an abstract seascape painting on them in glass paints so that the glass is still transparent-but she does not want any of the usual lead liner used to seperate the colours.
I have sorted out my paints and some old glass and Im going to spend the day tomorrow trying out some of the things I have in mind for her. Then I will email it to her for aproval and await the delivery of the glass!!!!!!!

Tern Valley Show

We have just been informed that the 2 day event at Tern Valley has been cancelled due to the adverse weather conditions.
So we shall spend the weekend getting the house straight or then again, we might just clear off in the caravan for a few days!!!

Latest Painting ---Tribal Dance

This another of my latest works. Its called Tribal Dance.
It measures 80cm x 70cm and is painted onto staple free box canvas.
The price of this painting is £150 including P+P in UK .
If you are outside the Uk please get in touch.
It is created using layers of acrylic and oil paint.
The sides have been left black.
Beautiful shades of blues, purples , greens and white mingle and merge in the geometric patterns.
I have sold several paintings like this in the past and I thought it was time to start doing some more abstract work.
Something I have to be in the mood for--
I have really enjoyed myself today-Bill was around and in and out while I was painting-he has made a start sorting out the garage-we will need the room for when the BIG decorating plurge starts soon!!!!!!!

The colours are more vibrant than appears on the screen .

Sparky

Been to the vets again this morning with Sparky for another long acting antibiotic and more painkillers.
He has been fighting with another cat and managed to get bitten on the other side of his rear end to last time-so he has had a matching pair of scars now!
He has been shaved off and you can see the teethmarks very clearly.
You would think he would have learnt by now.
He isnt too happy about being kept in the house, have got him another Felaway plug in to help him feel better-they are expensive but worth every penny!
