I have had a cancellation for tomorrow which means that I have Jack and Sharleen coming here to paint.
I have had some more of my students get in touch wanting to display their paintings in the ''From Small Acorns''exhibition in Leominster. I am not sure that there will be much room for me to put any of mine in the exhibition at this rate!!!
I have already increased the order for glasses at Tesco because the numbers have gone up--the last thing I want is to run out of glasses at the private viewing!!!.
I have found that Tesco is very good --they hire out as many glasses as you want free of charge-whatever sort of glasses you want--I have on order a very large number of wine glasses and tumblers- so far! There is going to be a certain amount of car drivers there so we will be catering for them as well!!
I have some beautiful wines already-white ,rose, and red and we will have some orange juice cocktail for the drivers as well as some other soft drinks.
There will be some of the children that have attended the classes there-I have decided to group all of the childrens work together-I am sure that people will be amazed at their results!
This is the (Almost) daily diary of a successful, established artist,it follows all the exciting times and the not so exciting times, the ups when the paintings go well and the downs when they don't ( Very Rare!!) Details of up and coming exciting times are all here, as well as the normal day to day living. Join me on this journey to the unknown!

Commission Finished

I have had such an interesting time painting the glass porthole windows---they have been a fascinating subject and I was really pleased with the result.
They are so vibrant with the light shining through them.
Its always a nail biting time waiting for the commissioners to come and view the piece--thankfully it was recieved well and I was informed that the glass portholes are in fact going to live in Mallorca, Spain.
They are going to email me some pics of them in situ in the doors, and I must say I cant wait.
I have been unable to get decent pics of them so hope they have more luck with the camera!

Ive made a start with the glass-Im experementing with some different colours which the client wants and I am emailing the different examples to her to see which she likes the best.

Commission
I have been asked to paint a commission with a difference.
The customer has got 2 new doors with porthole windows in them. She wants an abstract seascape painting on them in glass paints so that the glass is still transparent-but she does not want any of the usual lead liner used to seperate the colours.
I have sorted out my paints and some old glass and Im going to spend the day tomorrow trying out some of the things I have in mind for her. Then I will email it to her for aproval and await the delivery of the glass!!!!!!!
